A friend of mine lent me her copy of "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch. He is the professor from Carnegie Mellon, who, when diagnosed with terminal Pancreatic Cancer, gave one last lecture aimed at leaving a legacy for his three children. This is the best book I have read this year. It is funny, engaging, poignant, and sad. I had a very hard time putting it down. I totally recommend this book (take note Alaskan book club members).

Julie, I haven't read this book but I have seen Randy Pausch on Oprah and watched the last lecture on You Tube. Very inspiring.
