Ok, I know I've been whining about my college counselor but she really came through for me today! I had been scheduled to take Math 412, History of Mathematics. The catalog said no equations, but a friend who had it scheduled before said she opened the syllabus and it was all pre-calc stuff. I would not be able to pass this class so I've been scrambling to try to get out of it. Now, because of all my starts and stops I have a convoluted type of transcript. I have already taken lower division math classes which National was counting for some other type of elective. This is what happens when you change schools and so forth....Anyway, my counselor was able to get the powers-that-be to accept a lower level math class in exchange for the graduate level class I had scheduled. I still have to take a 300 level math, but it is geared for teachers and has up through geometry (which I can do).
Oh, I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders! The Library Research class I am taking is almost at an end and the Geography class I'm in has 2 more days. My next class is Personality Theory and that starts Monday. Wish me luck!
I think I forgot to say I'll walk in April of next year and then start the graduate program in July. It seems so far away but will go by quickly.

Julie,
Keep up the good work and hang in there. I am very proud of you.
Aunt Margy
What kind of degree are you going for Julie?
All I can say is: "Yay for getting out of math!"
You're awesome. I think it's wonderful you are working so hard.
